Christmas minis are open for booking


The holidays may feel far away, but now is the perfect time to plan your Christmas mini session!

This year, I’m thrilled to unveil three beautiful options for your holiday portraits hosted at The Creative Photographer studio off of Rayford Road in Spring, TX. You can preview all of the sets below!


Why book a studio session?

In suburban north Houston, fall weather can be a hot mess. Sweater weather one day, shorts and flip flops the next. The last thing you want is to be squeezing your kiddos into those cute matching flannel pajamas only for red-faced and sweaty photos. Studio photography means your family stays comfortable (and picture-perfect) no matter what the forecast says.


Why schedule in July?

Booking your Christmas minis now means you actually get to take the photos you’ve been dreaming about... before the back-to-school rush and holiday chaos. By the time fall arrives, schedules fill up fast. Early booking gives you first dibs at the time that suits your needs: plenty of time to order cards or prints and one less thing to stress about during the busiest season of the year. Secure your spot today so that “Schedule Christmas photos” can be the first thing you check off your holiday to-do list.


Sessions are limited and sold out in 2024 (I booked 2 additional hours this year so send this to a friend)!

Classic Christmas is so incredibly versatile—an entire room with four mini-sets, perfect for families wanting variety without leaving the studio.


Imagine cozying up in front of the mantle (which, let's face it, looks way more put together than the mantel at my home!), complete with stockings, books, and fresh greenery. Then for the next photo, gather the kids under the Christmas tree, surrounded by wrapped gifts, or let your toddler have some fun (and give us some genuine smiles) on the vintage-style wooden rocking horse.


A carved wooden mirror draped in fresh garland adds elegant visual interest. And thanks to the full-room setup, we can capture standing, seated, and candid moments in one seamless session.


Styled to feel like Christmas morning at home—but polished enough for cards and heirloom prints—Classic Christmas is warm, timeless, and welcoming. Set #2 - Snowy Pines

Christmas Set #2 is the sweet spot where timeless meets modern. Snowy Pines includes a forest of flocked trees, fluffy snow, and modern white couch. This set is absolutely begging to be on a festive Christmas card!


The couch is easily movable for standing poses or seated at the foot of the Christmas trees. Simple yet elegant, this set can be dressed up -- full gala attire! -- or dressed down with your matching family PJs. I think portraits from this set would look gorgeous on an ornament (my favorite grandparent gift).

Set #3 - Cozy Christmas

Christmas Set #3 is casual and comfortable. Cozy Christmas includes a queen-sized bed in ivory linens surrounded by pops of Christmas decor. If your ideal Christmas photos this year include everyone wearing matching PJs or reading “Twas The Night Before Christmas,” this is your set!
